KlyroPlayer

Features

Everything the player does, in detail.

KlyroPlayer organizes playlists you already have. Below is each feature, what it needs from your source, and where it depends on your device.

01/Playlists

M3U playlists

Paste the playlist link your provider gave you. KlyroPlayer reads the channels, groups and logos in it and lays them out for a TV remote, a touchscreen or a mouse.

  • M3U and M3U8 links
  • Provider groups become categories
  • Channel logos, when the playlist has them

KlyroPlayer doesn't come with playlists. Only add sources you're allowed to use.

02/Login-based sources

Xtream Codes login

Some providers give you a server address, a username and a password rather than a link. Enter them once and KlyroPlayer loads that account's live channels, films and series.

  • Server, username and password
  • Live TV, films and series from one account
  • Guide data, if the service sends it

03/Guide

TV guide (EPG)

Each channel shows the current program and the next one. Open the guide to scroll through the schedule hour by hour without stopping what you're watching.

  • Now and next on the channel list
  • Full schedule grid
  • Program descriptions, where provided

Guide data comes from your playlist source, so how complete it is depends on that source.

04/On demand

Films and series

Films and series from your source get their own sections, with poster rows, a page per title, and series split into seasons and episodes so you can pick up where you left off.

  • Poster browsing
  • Seasons and episodes
  • Title details, if your source includes them

05/Shortcuts

Favorites

Mark a channel, film or series as a favorite and it goes into one list, so you don't have to dig through categories every evening.

  • One button to add or remove
  • Its own section
  • Works for live channels and on-demand titles

06/Sources

More than one playlist

Add a second or third source, say an M3U link and an Xtream account, give each a name, and switch between them without typing anything again.

  • Mix M3U and Xtream sources
  • Name each one
  • Switch from inside the app

07/Household

Parental controls

Pick the categories that should be locked and set a PIN. Anyone using the device needs the PIN to open them.

  • PIN lock
  • You choose which categories
  • Change it whenever you like

Locks work on categories as your source names them.

08/Activation

MAC lock

KlyroPlayer is activated per device. Each activation is tied to the device's MAC address, so it stays with that device rather than moving to another one.

  • One activation, one device
  • The app shows its MAC address on screen
  • Status can be checked online once activation opens

09/Replay

Catch-up TV

If a channel keeps an archive, you can open an earlier program from the guide and play it from the start.

  • Open past programs from the guide
  • Archive channels are marked
  • How far back you can go is set by your source

Only works when your source provides an archive for that channel, on supported devices.

The illustrations are concepts with made-up content. They'll be replaced with real screenshots when the app ships.

Got a device in front of you?

Check its status on the activation page, or read the setup guides first.
